Fakir Hassen hosted the 50th anniversary celebration of Lenasia Times at Killarney Mall, marking five decades of serving, informing and connecting the community. Lenasia Times Editor Waseem Camroodeen was joined by Honourable Imraan Moosa and other distinguished guests to mark the newspaper’s legacy and its continuing role in telling the stories of Lenasia and its people.

A tribute to Brother Bilal for his tireless work keeping the youth of Lenasia safe, active and inspired through regular cricket matches and tournaments at Greyville Primary School. Sunbird Market Day, Lenasia — August 2026. The Sunbird market stalls event brought the Lenasia community together in a wonderful spirit of unity and togetherness. Honourable Imraan Moosa was delighted to attend and support the vibrant pop-up stores and local vendors, and the office thanks everyone in Lenasia who came out to make it such a memorable occasion.
